Windows movie maker help

I know windows movie maker isnt that great compared to all of the other editing systems but its what i can afford so I use it. Anyways I need help with it, I want to get like 20 seconds off of a youtube video onto my edit but I dont know how to do it, I was thinking like downloading the entire video off of youtube, and then putting it in my edit and trimming it down to the part that I want, but I dont know how to get it onto my edit. Anyone know what I can do?

its so funny when people shit on others for using movie maker but unless youre REALLY REALLY good, hard and soft cuts and laying a soundtrack over it is enough for most people on here.
