Hey Paul---

I know this subject has been brought up many times, and every single time you have declined it. I really honestly think that it would be a smart idea to expand the width of the website. I am on a 15" screen and there is at least 6-7 inches of just the backround. Why have such a small size and such a big gap? I am open to everything, so just back up your reason and i'll let it go, but I think other people agree with me too.

i think the best thing to do is to center it in the middle of the screen/background so you see less background grouped together on one side. this would also allow for continuity of the appearance of the website no matter what resolution you have.

We're working on this. We just don't want to rush into it cauz we really want to work out all the details about site layout first.

If we resize the site will be also do some major changes to the content organization. Until we work this out NS will stay as is.

We are hoping to have a new format for next season.

narrow = good

Take a look at magazines, newspapers, textbooks. None of the lines are pretty long because the text is in columns. Novels are printed on relatively narrow pages for the same reason. It is easier for the eye to read short lines like this.

If you make the whole thing wider, it will be a bit harder to read.

 
the computer im on now has an 18 inch screen, nearly half the screen is the gray background, on the other pc with the smaller screen its way better tho

This is the problem we want to fix. This format was great years ago when everybody used 800x600, but it's outdated now.

We aren't sure what we are going to do yet. When we do have some test pages done we'll get feedback from the members.

why do you have your windows maximized anyways? just minimize your browzer and you can get rid of all the gray you want!....plus see your background, room for media players etc...no need to strech the websight out
