Windham Mountain Resort Park Thread!

Hay Ho! I am the new park manager at Windham Mountain in the most amazing Catskill Mountains. I will be dropping updates, event info, drawings, chatter, anything at all to deal with parks! Feel free to reach out and let your voice be heard!

In the mean time... here is a little sketchup model of what Warm Up Park is going to look like with all the new features that are on the way for this winter!

New 11",8",6" Tube rails are on the way!

Congrats on the job, definitely interested to see what you do with the place. I haven't been in 5 or 6 years but maybe I'll make it down mid season to check out the new stuff. I still need to make it out to nashoba sometime and hit some of those rails. Never been there.

Also everyone loves tube rails so hell yeah.

I've been skiing at Windham since 2010. Are you planning on buying new boxes? They're pretty unstable and not really maintained well. Some new features this season would be nice. Also just changing the set up of features regularly so we have variety.

We have about 4-5 new boxes slated for construction this year in addition to a boat load of other features. We have scheduled a number of builds throughout the winter to keep things fresh and fancy!Check out the Facebook page for constant photos and updates from the parks. Neat. If the park is looking good I might have to drive over there and take a few laps

Probably buying a 3 day pass for here and hunter. Work = no season pass this season :( see y'all out there.

I will be back to shred nashoba a few times, but Windham is home now! We just had our brand new Pisten Bully 400 park pro delivered this week. Let's just say the capabilities are endless with this new machine. I have never been to Rochester before... why is the scene awful?

Work= necessity. At least your making the effort and not giving it up!

Jealous. Haven't been able to get in a Pro yet.

Was there 11/29 and only took one run through the park. It was my first day of the year and had on skis that i didn't want to hit any rails with but i was really impressed with the park set-up this early in the season. Ill be back next weekend with my park skis lol

I noticed that Windham had the most acreage open in the Catskills, however, Bellearye is half the price. No park but doesn't matter to me. Just wanted to point out that Windham is doing big things according to snow reports.

Let's just say the scene up here is about 5-10 years behind what it is elsewhere. Bristol mountain doesn't really have a dedicated park staff and forces their diggers to teach instead of rake/maintain. They also dont seem to switch up and reset features on a regular basis making it very icy.

tight that windham looks like they're getting their shit together in terms of park. I'll definitely be up at some point this season

Was up at Windham like a month ago and the reverse rainbow rail is sketchy as fuck, but the triple kink up down up down is soooo smoothhhh its the tits. Gonna try and come up some more this season, you guys are pickin it up!

Yo so I was jus pumped to see windham parks on a thread so yea jus wanted to give a shout out to the

windham freestyle express for holdin it down and thanks to the park crew for putting in the hard work and making this year the best year yet. Godbless and drink enough fireball whiskey to give you wings

Hey Two Plankers!

Its fall again and it's time for some major updates. We are sinking in over $25,000 into a new Jib arsenal this winter and blowing up our inventory from about 16 to over 60! We plan on offering over 80 features this winter and turning the Catskills into the premiere terrain park destination! Here are a few photos of the work that is well underway and we will be back here to keep you updated!

Special Delivery!

How are the parks looking now? Supposed to be up there this weekend.

We are doing pretty well right now Mike. Look us up on instagram for the latest photos @Windhamparks. We have about 27 jibs 9 jumps and 3 parks firing right now. More could be in store for the weekend!
