Finally the park has been stepped up. The jib park lacks a little but the warm up park has come into its own.

-42ft table

-30ft table

-10 ft double rail,

15 ft flat down double rail

- 25 ft flat down

-27 ft slant barrel

-12 ft box

- Trap rail

- Flat down Flat rail

-3 small tables

-hip

Jib park:

-trap box

-c box

- 2 flat bars

- rainbow rail

-Quarter Pipe

-A frame rail

- Butter box

600 ft pipe with 12 ft walls cut every thursday

 
your 'warm up' park has a 42 footer. thats bigger than just about any hit in Pennsylvani.

i havent been to whindham in a long time but yeah, go windham.

meh its alright. it's not great. it could be better if our park crew wasnt a bunch of fat, lazy snowboarders who do as little work as possible.

Hhaha actually 80% of the park crew cares and wants things better. Props out to them ( Eric, Leigh, Rich, Mark, Adam, Sandra... srry if i missed anyone) If things are not the best then all i can say is you get out there with a rake (i actually have) and shovle and keep everything in tip top shape, when you have little kids duck walking up lips and the race team snakeing everyone. The mtns core freestyle culture needs to change to one that acknowledges the park as a trail that needs constant care, and a trail that beginers need to be kept off of. Its the mtns lack of intrest in the park that leaves us dead in the water till this time in the season, i know ive seen it for the past 6 yrs of working there. But every year we see things get better.

i've been riding at windham for about 8 or 9 years now...and i don't think the park is bad but it is definatly no where near as good as it was when the park was where the pipe is now...and not to be pessimistic but i don't think it ever will be. i'm sure there are plenty of people on the park crew who want to improve the park...i'm not saying they don't want to...it's just not that easy to tell. and i have been out there and worked on the ariel site which they didn't even bother to put up again after they had it up for maybe a week or two at the most. that park has potential we just need to get some people who will make the difference. if that makes sense. i'm kind of just rambling now.

i agree with jenna.

i have also been skiing at windham for 8 or 9 years and im not doubting that there might be some members of the park staff that do want to improve the park but it doesnt seem like they are spending as much time as they could. i almost never see park staff in the park working on/improving new jumps or rails, boxes etc.

there is always talk about the aerial's being built again and again but it never happens.

i would agree that windham has improved from the beginning of the season when there was only one shit jump..but before it could barely be called a park.

i wouldnt consider it to be total shit now and hey, im glad that we at least HAVE a park..but it still could use some work.

Hell yea! i agree. I mean i grew up at windham and the park where the pipe was was great. There were more hits, though the park was shoorter and more compact. Sadly as much as i love rails and pipe the increse of popularity in these features led to the demise of the windham park. The crew spends les time on hits which seriously lack. But hey i not going to hunter anytime soon! Next year should be a big change for the better, or a big change for the worse. With a new General Manager things could be looking up who knows. But all i gotta say is tare it up.

yeah i think that one or two rails in the park is alright but that they should leave the majority of the boxes and rails in the jib park and build more jumps in the park.

they should not seperate the two parks.

yeah that would be ill but then again those bumps are hot.. i like the set up now in the park just that the 42 foot jump or how ever big it is isnt that nice... then on the last drop there is nothing there and if you get i get speed i dont just fly over it cause there will always be some idiot crossing it mid way.... something on steeper terrain would be nice that way you can get more speed

i donno the last time u were there but they built a 3 way w/ the middle at what 35 feet rye? i say that they did some improvements but i could be better
