i know this is the wrong section for camp threads but summers over so nobody really checks them. that being said, has anyone done windells camp, summer or winter? how is it and how does it compare to other camps?

i went this summer, session 1. it was way sick, probably the funnest week of my life. the skiing was sick, even though we had to miss 2 days due to snow. no haters there, everyone is sick, just stoked to be there. it probably woulda been waaaaaaaay more legit and i would have learned a lot more stuff if we had gotten to ski those 2 days. even those days were sick, just because at the camp there is so much to do. and it was awesome just chilling with the pros playing knockout and dogeball and shit. definitely going back next summer.

 
I went to session 4. Waaaaaay fun, best summer camp (both skiing and other) that I've been to. I think that Whistler village is a way more fun place to be but you really get to chill with all the skiers at Windells, and you get an easily accessible olympic tramp w/ foam pit, sick nasty skate park, and possibly the best summer terrain park out there. Also, the public park is way fun, definitely as good as the winter one in terms of jumps, there was only a box set up my session but I heard they added rails and such later that summer.

I'll see you at hood next summer if you go to any of the camps there. You can't really go wrong with Windells though.
 
I've been to windells 3 times now (2 summer sessions and 1 winter) and those 3 weeks were some of the best i've ever had.
 
ya windells is so sick, so easy to progress, and you'll have so much fun. even late in the summer, i went sesh 6 this year and it was so dope
 
i have been to windells in the summer and it was really fun but it would have been cooler if i had known some one going
 
i coached a few sessions this past summer and that place is so dope. i had tons of fun and i was coaching. its amazing to be a camper
 
windells was SICK one of the best trips of my life and worth every penny. Camp was so much better than just bummin out and skiing hood for a week. I would deffinitely suggest going to windells if your over 18. It was a ton more laid back, could do what you want, went into portland, had sushi night, got cobra dogs, lived in a house instead of cabins, had a hot tub, pool table, and private night sessions on the tramp after all the campers were in bed, and more. I had as much fun off the hill as i did on the hill. that being said the skiing was sick, between public and windells there was everything you'd want to ride. good time forsure
 
cliff jumping is the only off mountain activity that was shut down after the whole deal with the camper getting hurt on the trampoline. we'll all be getting lifeguard trained to bring back cliff jumping, our most popular activity.
