Windells

Everyone is going to yell at me but im going to say go to HCSC its better. YEa i know chucky is going to hate on hcsc but its SICK all the pros work there no joke soooo much more then windells and i think the park is better and i like it alllloooottt so go first or second sesh or 3rd or whenever you also get two extra days at hcsc
 
before you hate on windells you should go there, i've been to both and from experience can say that windells is way better. and a bunch of my friends are going to windells including my little brother and they ski, which isnt allowed at hcsc, and there's just as much pros at windells as there is at hcsc, and the skating at windells is 100 times better than hcsc. dont be a hater jake. and i'm going session 7 by the way
 
iv'e never gone to camp at hcsc but me and some kids went to hcsc with a coath, and i'm not talking aboutthe mountain but the campus and its like a pathetic little town think with nothing super hyped up to skate, and we have to hike past the hcsc park to go to the windells park and the hcsc park is nothing compared to windells but its still pretty sick, me and brett butcher used to drive to govy all the time so dont tell me i havent been to hcsc, because i wouldnt pay to go to such a shitty camp, and jake you havent even caught a glimps at windells so dont talk
 
ohhh shit jake he is right. i walked up to hcsc and chilled mad asians lol but whatever. when i went to windells it was like a super good day at belleayre times like 100 it was so fun
 
1st. theres mad asians because hcsc runs a japanese camp as well. and they are all really fucking good. plus they cook awesome japanese food.

2nd. their campus isnt lame and its actually in govy, so you dont have to drive an hour to get to the hill. and they have 2 skateparks plus the DOS(department of skate in portland) on the day off. never been to windells so i cant speak of their skatepark, its probably pretty baller, but high cascades parks are sick as well.

3rd. 2 pipes...which were way better then the windells ONE. they might have hcsc beat with the jumpline but its way down the lane and would take forever to hike back up, and hcsc holds their own with jumps. they still have the 50 then 70 footers right in a row as well as some other medium and smaller ones. plus the butter box, which they put a rail on top of. rail wise i think its pretty even, they both have some sick stuff.

4th. hcsc has a lime green bustache. beat that.
 
Yo everyone talks mad shit about hcsc but have they ever even seen the main campus

no all they have seen is the fucking main lodge. Thats not even a quarter of the camp it goes back and nascar is like far away and the street park is pretty lame but there are sick bowls and halfpipes. AND the asains are sick. So keep the shit talking down a bit because me and cracko like it. Im not dissing on windells at all but your all dissing on hcsc
 
windells and hcsc are both sick camps it just depends on which one you go to, thats why i'm sticking up for windells and cracko and snakubsteez are sticking up for hcsc. we need to ask someone who has attended both camps at the same time in the summer, bc if you compare an earlier hcsc session with a later windells session the hcsc session will obviosly be way better due to the conditions and the features the park has to offer...... and vice versa. so i will end it saying they are both dope and the first one you attend will be the one you like better.
 
im going to windells session 3. i havent been to either HCSC or windells, after checking both outm online, i really dont carew which one i go to i just wanna snowboard in the summer

and yea it depends on when you go also, way more shit in sesh 1&2 then way out there in sesh 7.
 
for people who windells, how much did you learn? what could you do before and then what could you do after?
 
well its not really a magical camp that you go there without tricks and come back with them...its just a strait week of riding so you can try shit all day long and it doesnt hurt, coaches will give you some tips but its really up to you to progress yourself, and you way more motivated to do it knowing you only have a week and spent alot of money to be there. generally, if you go there with 1 thing in mind you really want to get nailed down, by the end of the week, you will have it for sure.
 
agreed. I went to Windells for 5 summers. Really great experience, and the coaches definitely push you to meet your goals.

ps Windells has adult camp for 18+, HCSC's adult program is 21+ (i think?). Not to talk shit on HCSC or anything, but adult camp is WAY better than kiddie camp. and waiting till 21...psssssh. Definitely go if you get the chance.
 
I go to windells. but not this year .. no money! but i will still be up there. ahh it so nice to live on hood! ok well anyways... i will be up there the frist week of July. I am not going to say one camp is better then the other but why i love windells over HCSC is because windells has skiers and snowboarders.. i am a snowboarder but i love to ride with skiers. and with the windells camp being in its own place you get to become close friends with everyone and at hcsc all you do is rome govy. but go where you like and dont say one is batter then the other ... to each is own.
 
to be honest your not going to learn mad shit, just have fun though, the snows soft so you can try to go big... i learned 5's both ways in the pipe and i did my first wallrides and shit, bc my mountai doesnt have one. this skier in my cabin learned backflips though. its just a matter of having balls to try it
