Aight NS, I seached and there were a couple of theads on this, but they kinda died (unless I missed one, in which case feel free to yell at me) so help me out.

My parents gave my brother a "senior trip," where he and my dad went to spring training baseball. Now, in the spirit of fairness, they are giving me a "senior trip" to the destination of my choosing. I was wondering if you have gone to/heard about either the winter or spring camps at windells. I went this past summer, session three and had a great time. How is it different? Did you have fun? If you could just give me some info about it, it would really help in making my decision. I would either do the winter one or the May 26-April 1st one (if i went). Thanks a lot!

ahahah that was actually funny. and true. about the saga ft and jiberish. but i had fun at windells.
i think the only difference is the amount of campers and snow

i didnt hav full tilts saga or jibberish... and like half the kids didnt have any of those either.

see yeah, i went this summer. just really got into park skiing, wasn't very good, didn't even know about NS. No tall tees, no jiberish nada. people were still cool and weren't jerks. But I'm still wondering, how is the skiing different? Do you still go to the windells/timberline parks or do you hit up like hood meadows and the bowl? Do you ski backcountry/pow type stuff?

that looks sick too, didn't know you had winter spring stuff. I think BOB would be nice to have in the winter tho.

its all about price. spring/winter isnt supposed to be as good but you still get basically half price of windells. plus it snows on campus...

I've been to a few winter/spring sessions. They are a lot smaller than summer sessions... generally under 20 kids. Don't expect any chicks, maybe one if you're lucky. (Some people care about that, idk.) We got to ride Mt.Hood Meadows and Timberline and have a TON of powder in the spring sessions. If you're into park and don't really enjoy powder, I wouldn't recommend it because there is hardly any park that time of year. It was fun because we only had one counselor for all the kids and we usually got to stay up late (one night we even got to skate in BOB until 11pm) because it's easier to keep us all in check. One session I was the only skier. It kinda sucked at first but I got my own ski coach to myself which was super legit.

SOOOOO in general. As long as you make easy friends, like powder, don't mind not riding a ton of park, and wouldn't mind being one of the only skiers, go for it. I had a blast every time I went, never had a bad week.

Sorry for the dubpost. I'm originally from Tyrol Basin but moved to Breck a few years ago. Knowing the mountain you ride, I would say yes, take advantage of getting to ride powder like that one week in your life. You will not regret it and never forget it. Entirely new outlook on skiing after my first pow week at Windells coming from Wisco...

everyone was cool at windells this summer, especially the foreign kids..
except for those faggots that actually wore du rags ahahahahha

i coach some of the winter camps, that is me in the picture above. This is how it is different. In the winter you get to hang out at the Windells Campus with around 50 people rather than 200 plus so you dont have to wait your turn for anything. Instead of riding a summer park with a rope tow you get to ride both timberlines whole mountain including Meadows and sometimes ski bowl. Pow has def been in the picture and with a much smaller group coaching is more intimate. if you want to see what it is really like go to the windells page and you can find videos from last years christmas session. Windells isnt called the funniest place on earth for no reason and in the winter you get to have the entire place to yourself. It really depends on what you prefer.

yea pretty much. that was what i implied... well to be straight up about it. like a bunch of kids had saga a bunch had jiberish a bunch had full tilts. that is all good night
