Windells snow?

sorry if this is a repost, there isnt a search bar on iNS, but what is the snow like at windells in the summer? if i brought new skis would they come home trashed?

no. your skis should be fine unless you try to jump over rocks and fail

the snow at windells is dirty frozen water. your skis won't come home trashed unless you trash your skis at windells.

they wont get thrashed. there is lots of spots where the snow is real dirty and could scratch your skis but nothing serious

The snow is obviously better the earlier you go but its mostly just dirty water with a few melted rocky spots towards the bottom before the snow just stops. When the snow ends, take off ur skis and walk. The only people who wreck their skis are the idiots who try to ski over the rocks when the snow stops at the bottom.

hahah i hope it isnt bad but yea it gets dirty and ur skiis will get scratched but im pretty sure that u can wax em right at windells so it shouldnt end up being too bad

would assume they have wax and i know they have irons, and they have two rope tows.

there are a couple waxing stations and instruction on how to do it if you want. But no, you dont need your own.

im taking my good skis this year. there is tons of coverage and you will only hit rocks if you suck at hopping over them or you try and hit them. Last year i dont think i hit a single rock, other than when i tried to ski down the the bottom chair on the dirt.

youve obviously never been to windells. candy is handed out like candy, skis are handed out like skis, which means they are not handed out. until the end when they hand out 2 pairs. maybe there's just a candy shortage in your neck of the woods in which 2 pieces of candy are handed out as rations or something..
