Windells session 6

haha thanks... but do u kno remember how hot i kno its tall tee weather but i dont wanna pack to much with bag fees the way they are
 
it was in the 90s at the base when i was there. really fucking hot, and probably 70s 80s on the hill. I dont think thats normal though
i skied in a t shirt one day there and my elbows look like i was beaten repeatedly with a cheese grater...i dont recommend it.
 
haha thats suckks... thanks for the info... cant wait to go... but did u progress a lot? i can do almost any rail wit a fs 270 out and 3's on small jumps... do u think i can get a lot better if i just try shit?
 
You can get alot better no matter where you are if you just try shit. Windells is just the place where you get pushed the most by people you respect
 
session 6 was hot as hell. 102 according to a subway sign about 10 minutes down from hood. windells is great, youll be able to progress no matter what ski level youre at. however if the kids in your group are dicks, it kinda sucks.
 
yea i wanna push myself a lot when i go... and i hope the kids r cool i just wanna hav fun and learn new stuff
 
and definitely take the no short sleeves advice. i skied a day in a tank top. worst decision ever. dont do it. no matter how hot it is lol
 
a thermal will probs be too hot. i wore shorts and snowpants and one long sleeve shirt and i was still dyingg. the guys wore short sleeves cuz they could rip up their arms without caring lol Its always good to have layers tho, sometimes it gets windy and then its quite cold. we normally put a few layers and lunch in a backpack and leave it by a feature for the day to accommodate weather changes.

long sleeve shirt with emo thumb slits. you might look gay but youll prevent your sleeve from riding up and raping your arm with ice burn. you can still wear short sleeves on top too.
 
and i will say hi. i dont mean that i will actually be nervous the whole time. i may be for the first few hours, but the rest of the time i will probably just be off the walls with excitement that i am at windells, skiing on my birthday in july.
 
so stoked to see a lot of kids goin... hope to see u guys there... i got 178 afterbangs wit the green bases and im def wearing long sleeve every day and i got black pants... come say hi
 
yea 90 is a little high but that would b great if the highs were like 50 everyday its like perfect spring/summer ski temps right there
 
yeah i'm in about the same boat too. Our parks up here in AK suck. I hope I can make it down to Windells this summer. That would be so sick.
 
Im gonna be at session 6.

My friend went last year and said kids that were barely able to 3 learned how to 7 or 9 by the end of the week
 
if i leanred to 7 in a week id b sooo pumped... anyone kno when we find out who our coach is and shit
 
when you get there, you have like a meeting where they split you up into groups and you find out who your coach is then and get to meet him/her
