Windells has tons of sick off hill activities(huge skatepark, bmx jumps, rafting, tramp/foam pit, etc..)and a bigger park, MHSSC has a smaller park(but still well built) and less after-skiing activities(tramp, trips to lakes..) Both have sick down-to-earth coaches and staff that will help you learn whatever you want to. Either way, Hood is the place to be in summer.(I've been to Windells, had friends who work at MHSSC)
Dude MHSSC is so fun the coaches are realy tight, ther are realy cool people that go. if you sighn up to become a camperstaff it is $250 so you are a camper one week and then a camper staff the other a camper staff gets to go skiing and do a little work around camp and you still get a ton of free time and shit 500 for two weeks.
Camps: pretty even, althought IMO id rather go to camp at whistler than hood, more snow, bigger parks, etc.
Cost: Hood
Hood is the cheap way to go for people not trying to go to camp and whistler is the spendy way for people to go to camp. Hood camp is like a compromise, all thought windells is baller.
deff go to a camp when i went to mt. hood last year with a camp they have seperate private places for the camps they dont have a public terrain park and only like 2 trails to ski on that are open to the public
it may cost more but the exchange rate is through the roof right now, and Its not that hard to find your own place to stay for a month and buy a glacier pass for like $300. Maybe even try working for a camp in exchange to ride it.
I agree Whistler is dope and has better nightlife, but the public park isn't nearly as good as Hood, Whistler can get pricey(for someone traveling by plane) and the weather tends to be worse.
