i want to go to one of these camps this summer but they are so expensive i wanted to know which one teaches you more and makes you better thanks a lot

I just chose COC because you get to go to water ramps, the activities are free and better plus you dont need to hike and all my friends said they learned a lot

no more hiking at windell's as they will have 2 tow ropes. also the windell's campus thing is just a huge skatepark, which is so damn sick. plus the indoor skatepark+trampolines+foam pit.

alll COC activities arent free...not eating at least
(i went to momentum, but based on observation:)COC is a more open/ loosly regulated kind of camp compared to windells... you pretty much are open to chinnen in whistler and anything that it has to offer is obv open for use (+ whatever the camp does)... you get alot of freebies through the camp and stuff... the down is that the camp and the liftline for COC get really crowded...as far as coaching its alot less formal i hear but the help is there if you ask... and the housing is kind of inconvienent for everything being that its not based in the town really... badass and huge park
windells is more of a traditional camp where you dont leave except for when you ski... its more all inclusive and closed off to the public(not that thats bad)...tom walish is there

momentum:quick laps- the t bar is only shared with a couple other smaller camps good coaches and riders- some of the best names ride there- your given a group of like 8 kids and you stay with them for the whole week and the coaches rotategood but not the best park- COC was way better im not going to lie...but its all good cuz its still really good whistler- anything goes w/ that part(including water ramps/ bike and skate stuff)trampolines- not all camps in whistler have them for everyday useyou stay in a hotel in town- (pools) convent for skiing and chillen afterwardsexpensive- but be sure to look at what expenses are covered when your comparing pricesbumps- not always good if you dont ski them because the divide their space, time, and money between them as opposed to just the parkfood is convenient and covered- something that COC lacks for breakfast and dinner...earlier start and end to the day then COC- just because of COCs breakfast situation sucks and takes soooo longskiers only- not to hateless organized- give up on trying to contact them

WINDELLS IS cheaper
Windells Coachestim durtschitom wallischmike hornbecksteve steppnick martinicollin collinsben moxhampepbentchentlerliam downeyrory silvamatt walker i think.plus more
And they are getting two lifts this year in the park.
AND (this is a huge one) whistlers has not received half of the normal average snowfall for the year. they have a 70 inch base and it just snowlike like 50 inches...Just doesnt seem like the year for Whistler.

windells was crazy fun, and the coaches really want you to get better. they will literally teach you anything that you ask them too, even off the hill. you can jump on the trampline and there will probably be a coach there that will teach you what you want. then take it to the hill, then to the video review. plus, if you skate, their campus was amazing for all kinds skating. there is a reason why daewon song has visited windells parks several times. how much you learn is really up to you based on how much you want to try, at windells or coc. but windells is way cheaper and more fun

windells coaching is phenomenal

coc and momentum have sick parks and your in whistler which has to be so much fun

there all good but i would go for windells

I have been to COC for two years now, i have to say that windells does look like more fun and i will learn more. COC has an awesome park, but then again windells looks like a better park and now they have there own provate rope tow so no lonnng lines and no hiking. COC does not give you dinner, only lunch and brekafest but windells gives you all of your meals. The after riding activities & lodge type area at windells looks so much more fun because they have there own skatepark, paiintball, indoor tramp&foam pit. With coc you really have to ask your coach alot on what you want to learn or your not gonna learn a whole lot. Hope this helps

don't go to windells, it'll make it more crowded for the rest of us. but actually do go there, so much fun and always something to do. i went from mid to late july last year and we were still skiing to the base lift. and i hear they are putting some rope tows in. but COC has water ramps...i think

windells has a rope tow nuff said go there and the coaches are all hoodrats there so you will learn how to bang and rideaway real smoove

Windells funnest place on earth. Everythings included and its worth every penny. The camp site has a fun atmosphere and a foam pit of goodness. Public park slays and windells line is always fun. Video review everyday after skiing and more. Ps. If your over 18 its even more fun.

Hey Dude,
I'm Graeme from the Camp of Champions. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, so keep that in mind when it comes to pricing. With todays exchange rate, the cost for an 8 Day Deluxe Camp works our to $1,793.51 is US dollars.
We'd be stoked to have you come shred with us this summer. Check out our site (http://www.campofchampions.com) and give me a shout if you have any questions!

I agree momentum was sick

The thing that i noticed about coc was the amount of people there the t-bar was always packed when i went down to hit the public park right next to it. For that amount of money i would suggest Momentum sick park great coaches and lots of time skiiing instead of waiting in line.

you will get 50 different answers from 50 different people.

as for which camp makes you "better"

one camp is magically better than the other, and if the coaches at one camp were incompetent, then they wouldn't be coaches.

it all about how much you want to learn. if you are committed enough to reach your goals, then it doesn't matter were you go.

i would go to windells..... tom wallisch is there.

ive went to COC last year and it was the best experience of my life. the park was outrageous and my coach was awesome. but id say this year ud want to go where the snow is. especially now that windells is getting those t-bars. if whis really has had a terrible snow year that could have a huge impact on the summer camps...

i was really stoked to go to coc this year, but now that im hearing about the lack of snow, my enthusiasm is lacking...

hey Dude, the whole Pacific Northwest does have lower snowfalls than usual, that includes both Whistler and Mt Hood. However don't let it get your down, it's not as doom and gloom as you might think. the park is going to be sick this summer. Arena Snowpark's has some rad new ideas for our new park and we'll keep everyone in the loop as we get more plans confirmed.

Usually Windells is much cheaper, but this year the Whistler camps are way cheap too.

COC- $1890

Momentum - $1750

Windells - $1799
