ATTENTION NEWSCHOOLERS

Believe it or not Summer 2016 is right around the corner. Our commitment to creating the greatest ski program for our campers starts with building the best team of staff to support the camp and we’d like to include you in the hiring process. We’ve got a lot of new positions at Windells for this summer and are looking for hard working, dedicated, and passionate skiers to fill those spots. If you’d like to spend June, July, and August at Mt. Hood skiing, skating, and much more then check out http://windells.com/about/employment/ and get your application submitted ASAP. What does it take to be a digger?
 
Could you guys tell me what the pay is like? Im looking for a summer job so I can save up for college and I might be interested in this. Thanks.

Would you hire a 15 year old as a digger? (I turn 15 on the 22nd of April)
 
Woah woah woah Windells! As I read on the website media deadline is march 21st? Can you clarify! If so I need to push my projects forward quickly!

About a 3rd of your day is freeride time. You're there at 7:45 raking and salting lips. By the time campers get in you can usually get some laps in. What people don't realize is that every 6 days the diggers pull EVERY feature after the session ends on last day. Then in 2-3days you're back out there re setting an entire new park. Its a shit ton of work and dont assume you'll be skiing a majority of it. By the time you get your free rides in you're already sweating your ass off. I worked the rope tows and had an ass load of digging to do daily losing 6in-1ft of snow a day, I was usually worn out on digging by session 3 and I only dug probably an 1/8th of the snow that the diggers do.

I was kinda kidding tho I wouldn't get a job at windells
