I am 16 years old and really want to ski this summer. I heard about the dig to ride at windells. do you just go in the morning and dig then get to ride the rest of the day?? and do they give you free tickets or do you have to buy them ?

i checked it out and you got it right but the strings are you have to live around there (no overnight accomodations) and im pretty sure you have to be 18 :P

Hmmm. Anyone know how it is to get a job at a ski camp? I am 18. Like a counselor or security or maintenance or housekeeping or something?
Thanks

you have to know people at Windells, I'd suggest applying to MHSCC or one of the whistler camps as a counselor or CIT.

at MHSSC you can do camper staff where you work in the kitchen in the morning and evening and you get to do the camp for free, basically you wake up early and then get to do all the normal camp stuff and then you clean up dinner basicallypretty sure with camper staff you have to go for 2 weeks, one of which you're camper staff and the other where you have to pay as a normal camper

correct me if im wrong but i believe the point of the thread is not asking how to get a job at windells but rather how to be able to go for the day or a couple days and dig/do work for the camp in order to ride for the day.

you got to buy a ticket, then go up early, when the diggers are just arriving at the park, go in and ask if you can dig, you will throw salt around for like an hour or something then you get to ride the sweet park the rest of the day. they should definatly let you do it, then after a couple days after people get used to you, you can stop digging and just come up and ride the park. sometimes.
