I want to go to Windells, but I am just wondering if the coaches there are dicks and if the people who go there are cocky bitches. Any help?

im currently im the process of registering and was wondering what to put for skill level

im ok in the park can do 3's pretty good, pretty good at rails, switchups, learning 270's, and i charge just riding regularly but what should i put for skill level? intermediate or advance?

i assume its based on park skills

sry for the thread jack

windells is so legit, also this year rope tow, and they redid the dorms and they now have flat screens ya boi, also really big level 1 jump again i hurd

man why would you even say that, most people who want information just ask about the camp in general...why think everyones assholes and judging by your karma your probably an asshole too. maybe youd fit right in there if people are how you assume

Ya dude everyone there is a mega deush. Absolutly nobody is chill, i wouldnt plan on making ANY friends unless you can double flip with a legit grab and and lip 27 onto a down flat down. And the coaches suck at skiing too you probibly wont have any fun or learn anything.

what the fuck are you talking about. I was just wondering dude. And I just joined like 5 hours ago so maybe thats why I have no karma? dick

jesus why so hostile??

but to answer your question the coaches are supper sick. i had tom wallisch and he was suppper helpfull and helped me learn everything i asked. windells was the funnest thing ive ever done and i strongly suggest you go there man

yah dude maybe he is new which is the case we are all skiers and he was wondering about a camp and how it was there was no reason for that

Thats exactly where i was when i went.. i put down advanced.. but all it really does is decide what skill level kids are in your group. so if you wanna ride with kids that are better than you put down advanced and if you want to ride with kids that are the same or alittle worse put intermedit

do you have to be super good and young to go to the camps?!?
i would really love to go to one but so that i can ski in the summer and get better. more for the love.

sorry but ive never been to ski camp and im registering for momentum. From what you can do i would think that is intermediate/ begginer, no hate just confused what to put.

Do 20/21 year olds even show up at windells? trying to learn new tricks? or is it only for the kiddies...

i really wanna get to 7s/9s etc, but I don't wanna show up and be the only adult guy trying to learn new shit.

There was only one kid who was semi-dickish that I met there, and he turned out to be pretty chill in the end.

I had bench, pep, and martini for coaches for a bit and everyone was mad chill. I made a bunch of friends there who I still keep in contact with and hope to be riding with next year. I'll be at hood this summer I hope, not with a camp but if you go you shred the public park a lot (which is REALLY nice btw) so you get to meet a ton of other people too. You meet a lot of NSers as well. That is, if you're willing to get out of your housing and into the camp to the trampoline and the skate park and ride around with people on the hill. You get out of it what you put into it.

i heard windells has more younger kids there than other places, like more kids under 13 or so, and not many kids like 15 or 16-25ish. though i was there a couple days last summer to dig and ride and it seemed like there were alot more older kids on the hill, but they could all have been coaches and workers that i was seeing, who knows?
if you really wanna be with more older people go to momentum or coc, those camps have tons of people older than like 25 so you should be right in the middle.
i wish i started going to camps when i was younger, my first camp was at like 16, then 17, and then ive just been doing the public at mt. hood and digging to ride at places, you get like 3 times as much skiing, and no rules at all, you just camp and fuck around all the time. but you dont get to be around awesome people all the time like you do at camps.
