wilsons 190 ft gap

i was just looking aroung biglines and saw an article about mike wilson tryoing a 190 ft gap back in 2001. it said he came up short. the article was harsh blurred but it was saying shit about a hospital and stuff. anyone now any details. has he done it since?

 
The video footy is in Yearbook. He broke his back in 3 spots, pushed bones through his heels, etc.

I talked to him after the Yearbook Premier. He seems to be totally fine now and was skiing 3 months after the accident.

It's definitley one of the craziest shots I've ever seen!

Oh, I don't know. I could be mistaken...the gap in Yearbook was HUGE though.

he came up short only b/c there was a snowboarder was in the in-run in a spot whare it was to late to swerve off the in run. he dident see him b/c he was on the other side of a nole in the in run. its amazing how he was killing it this summer after that.

Im pretty sure there wasn't a snowboarder. He was getting practice tow-ins on one sled, then for his real attempt, they used a different sled with not as much power. Hence, coming up short.
