dude, sorry to give my opinion of your boyfriend, but i think anyone else in the ski industry would agree that if you overshoot jumps by THAT much then you obviously are out of control. my description of him being unprofessional (which i in know way meant in his overall aspect of life, just on some of the things he does) was meant to explain that a real skier would know his speed (to a point) and know what the limits of every feature he is hitting are, therefore he would not hit the apex of his air above the knuckle of the table, causing him to land completely overrotated in the flats. yes, on occasion people overshoot and undershoot jumps, but not by that much, and certainly not after they have hit the feature several times. i know for a fact that many many of the people in the industry agree with me, and whenever we are watching the footage of wilson's multiple ridiculous overshoots, everyone says the same thing.

as for the gap in aspen, seeing as though i was there and singlehandedly witnessed at least 5 'professional' skiers and snowboarders call mike wilson the most idiotic, and yes unprofessional, retard that they have ever seen for getting in the cat and making them push the landing to where they did. everyone else there knew that they were not at a circus and that he was attempting something out of the league of human possibility in the conditions that were present, therefor making his attempt at 'setting a new world record' very unprofessional.

i don't really care if you like me or my thoughts, it doesn't bother me, but this is a free country and a free forum to dicuss our thoughts and those are mine, aws well as numerous other 'professional' skiers in the industry

and by the way, the comment you made about wilson wanted to see how big he could go before he blew his knees was about the worst thing i've ever heard in my life. and the funny thing is that if it for some reason WERE true, then it would even further prove my point that it was the most unfuckingprofessional thing i have ever seen
