Wilson Flip

i was talking to wilson and he said the wilson flip is actually five backflips and he said in the us open he was coming around on the fifth flip and he caought his head on the landing and it fell off. They put it back on though, so he is OK. This is all according to mike wilson, who i was just talking to.

yeah jensen has got it right. its an underflip to misty. i saw the vid. but i forget where. if i remember, i'll post it

all I want to know is how does he throw it? also, the 'wilson flip in a quarter pipe' was actually a 'Fliffus' (sp?), which is actually a flair-to-frontflip

People who don't want tricks like the Wilson Flip in big air contests are just begging for skiing's progression to come to a screeching hult.

To Huck. v. The act of throwing oneself off of a cornice, cliff, rock, or any other thing that results in an attempt to fly.

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.

or beggin for a different direction the aerials? i thought it was gay as hell. why don't they just all do triple backflip 1660s if this is what it's coming to. style counts more then anything in my mind and i'd rather see any spin from mickael including a 180 then a 'wilson flip'

^ once style is perfected by all the skiiers, all the tricks will eventually be worn out. a switch 7 or even 9 will be normal. new tricks have to be done to keep skiing interesting and to keep it progressing. so in my opinion, a wilson flip is ahead of its time and people just arent ready for it yet.

skierman, everyone has a unique style, so all of their styles are pretty much perfect. it isnt the skiing that will come to a screeching halt, its the big air comps. pipe and slopestyle will still be going on strong.

freestyle snowboarding has been round for heaps longer than skiing and u dont see them double/triple/quadruple flipping. i completely agree with caden.
