Wilmot rail jam

Thats the info on it

our good friends in the wilmot terrain park are trying

to put together a little somethin' somethin. (real little if ya know

what i mean) should be tonsa fun!

Here's the deal -

Fall Session at Wilmot Mountain Terrain Park

November 11th

Sign-up at 2:30 at the Park

$10 per rider - riding from 3:00 - ?

Park Setup:

3 Lines -

Funbox with Jib at end of run

Boxtop rail with Jib at end of run

Double Barrel with Jib at end of run

Jibs could be barrels, walls, or an assortment of readily available items.

We will have concessions available

We will have music

We

have a limited amount of snow, we'll try to keep it as clean as we can

for as long as we can. Will provide a gallon of base cleaner, but bring

some along to help out. Kingsford Lighter Fluid works well.

This

will be our opening ceremony for the new chill-out and warm-up zone at

the bottom of the park. We'll have a blazing fire to keep you warm

while you take a break from riding!
 
its just going to be a session. Last night i heard something about 4 or

5 truck loads of snow from surrounding ice rinks. I wouldn't use new

skis.

if you can come I would come where else are you going to be able to ski

next weekend? besides maybe Ski Brule They had a Cooler full of man

made snow at the Chicago Ski & Snowboard Show last night.
 
Oh man, wilmot is doing a pre season rail jam. finally. Next weekend is gonna be sick. I must build my backyard rail and start warming up.
 
maybe i can convince my mother to let me go instead of to the PBP premiere at raging buff the night before, I would rather ski than watcha movie, phil has phils camera, i might be able to get it tho
 
From what i heard this weekend at the Chicago Ski & Snowboard Expo. it should be a very good time. They are getting snow from 3 or 4 different Ice Rinks in southern Wisconsin and Northern IL. Should be a good amount of people at it too. They had Flyer's for it at the Wilmot Mountain booth during the expo and they handed all of them out.

Either way if you can make it I'm sure you will have a very good time. I will be there taking pictures and maybe trying to hit a rail or two.
 
^ where did you here that sunburst is opening. and either way, i think i'm going to wilmot. just to check the place out again.
 
just a reminder boys and girls, no drugs or alcholol allowed on the hill. so lets keep it in the car.
 
i gotta rise out of that. it was funny and you know at wilmot family comes first. Reed and I will definetly follow the rules. unless sunburst is open and they have some rails set up. 
 
Man stas, speak for yourself, bleezes on the hill. Just kidding. But im gonna go to wilmot no matter what. I got my pass to SB so I can go there netime. Wimot just has a special place in my heart.
 
actually yea its probly gonna be packed with snowboarders, in fact im going up with 2 of them, and a bunch of my other friends who snowboard are also going, whatever hopegully all the skiers will stick together and killllllll it
 
its still almost 5 days away, alot can change between now and then...

Im still going regardless of the weather rains not that bad unless its a complete downpour

Funbox = that little red box they have had for years.

Boxtop = I have no idea.

Double Barrel = that little red rail that was like 2 inches off the ground 2 years ago.

We were just thinking of the possibilites so we are probably wrong but I wouldn't be suprised if that is the set up. Hopefully it is more legit than that.

i think it might be better than that, if you have too much time on my hands like me check out the wilmot terrain park myspace, judging from all the new rails/boxes that they made last season, i think that the rails will be better than the ones you are describing
 
what the myspace page.

the ufnbox is gonna be the classic red wilmot box, the boxtop rail, will be one of the new ones from last yr, then the dbl barrell will prolly be the one that they had setup as a drop off last season.

they also posted that they have about 40,000 lbs of snow for sundays jam, i cant fucking wait, shits gonna be insane
 
40,000 lbs of snow seems like a lot and i'm not saying that as a bad thing. I can't wait. that skinnier box looks like a blast. I'll be the kid wearing blue pants and riding invaders with reactors. yeah, reactors...i'm poor.
