Will it be a good setup? or be shady like the fall jam. im flying in from utah on the 20th and i think im gunna do it, but i wanna know if it will be legit, and what the winners get. any info would be kewl
the rail jam on the 6th and 20th are sponsored by ride sports which is in New Berlin. There are two different types of rail jam's this season. The R&B Series and the Thursday night shop sponsored rail jam's. The Shop ones should have good prizes. By the 20th the park should be open so there should be a good set up for that one.
Not really sure how there going to run it yet. All I know is i believe i have to go out there tomorrow night to build and push snow for the rails for it. I might have more info tomorrow night. Just go i'm sure it will be fun.
I just got home from Wilmot its 3am was out there building all the platforms for the 3 rails tonight the set up looked sick when we where done. I would go if i was you guys.
it should be very good on the 20th. They had sort of a small turn out this week. But from what i had heard the set up was really nice and smooth and everyone liked it. Which made me happy considering the time I spent Wednesdays night Building everything. The next one should be even better with different Rails and a better set up.
what were the prizes for the one on the 6th? cuz if im gunna go, i wanna make sure its gunna be a legit thing with good prizes, i dont wanna spend 43 bucks for nothing or a stupid medal or something
how much money does it cost to enter the jam. and is it true if you have a pass to sunburst you get half priced lift tickets? I heard that last statement from a kid who works there. I hope it is true cause then i might just make the trip down.
I belive its 15 to enter the rail jam. Iam not sure about the whole thing with your pass from sunburst if that works. I would call wilmot to ask about it. As far as prizes and what they where i can find out tommorrw when iam out there. I'm sure it will be worh it and fun.
The set up which we built friday night is pretty sick.
we also set up a nice A frame rail at the bottom which i didn't get a picture of
that looks really fun. nice job setting that up. i'm heading down if i get enough money back for my school books and that half price lift ticket thing is true. hopefully i will see you down there.
I just saw the wilmot web page and I noticed that it said Inspiration, Chair 6 is open. I know that the jumps are supposed to be on that run. So my question is, are the jumps up? I hope, yes.
I'm hoping there will be more stuff out. I'm going to try to go out there tommorrw night and build more stuff for thursday night. no jumps on Inspiration yet there wasn't enough snow and we didn't have enough time. but Inspiration is going to be the jump park.
its crazy how much of a park there is at wilmot now. it seems like only yesterday that the only jump on the hill was under the tree on the skiers right of chair 7.
yes it is crazy. how they are trying to step it up. I'm going out sunday at 4am to start building the jump pak on chair 6. once thats done and all the other rails are out it should be really nice at wilmot this season
