its hard to tell how big the roller is in the picture. for the snow that we had this was about the best i could do for know. should be enough stuff for the kido's to play on for know.

nice to see. but why is the battleship a ride on. would be so fun if there was a gap to the rail. also is that the same a frame that got ran over by the groomer years ago or is that a new one. anywho nice to see some stuff set up at wilmot.

the battleship was already in the snow when i got there so didn't feel like changeing it. that might be the a frame that got ran over.

what i still dont understand about wilmot...why does everything always look so shitty. Concept311 im stoked on what you've been trying to do the last year or so but seriously... why is everything always so shitty? look at the take offs to those rails, pushing a blades worth of snow up to a rail and leaving it there isnt how you do it. You guys just got a new cat, so i cant belive you guys arnt getting cat time. Long story short, take some pride in what you're building, make it look professional instead of some rails litterly thorown onto snow piles. And tell the old guy he's still a bitch and still cant make anything worth riding.

On that note, wilmot has come a long way from the stunt ditch and mailbox rail...i just want to see it live to its full potential. I'll be out next saturday (20th?) good luck on getting snow and cat time!

Your above statement is somewhat true. It isn't all the groomers fault, what i don't like is the people that work the park. they need to start grooming the features more frequently. that's not just about wilmot it's about every park. i was at SB yesterday and their crew was fixing a feature all night. i rarely saw them riding. it was nice to see because everything was perfect the whole night. if every place started grooming their features before they get ruined then the features wouldn't get so run down and janky. But a rail needs to be put in correctly for it to be legit in the first place.
And yes I remember those days. that mailbox next to the ditch was the place to be. and only about one or two hits were good in that pipe but it was so fun hitting a pipe and getting some air those days. wilmot was the shit.

i sure wasn't about to get out of the cat to shovel when i was leaving that for The PARK MANAGER to do in the morning when he came in. just hope you guys have fun on whats there.

Alittle update. I was there last night for about 7 hours worked more on one of the jumps alittle more to go hopeful tommorrw night (sat) I can finish it. They made a shit ton of snow for us which is great. Also made a spot for the Huge Whale tale (Rollercoaster Kicker) hopeful the landing is steap enough. and a spot for the urban when that is ready. as far as rails last night we put out the box top, C-box (smaller of the two), 2 benchs = a Flat down.

Today there where soppesed to get a mini exervater out there to set the rest of the rails with. I will know more tommorrw after i go in town work.

was out today/tonight had a blast on the flat bar at the top and the whale tail. Flat/down box was sick too....Talked to the park crew (not sure who?) keep it up.

i pretty muvh just skimmed through so you might have said this but im not sure, timmy and collin have been making a 42 foot S rail for almost 2 weeks, and me and frump convinced timmy to let us set it up where its flat. happy birthday lol

The whale tail was dope but in the future can there be a tiny gap between the begining of the rail and the jump coming into it because it was hard to get on without having slanted momentum which pulled you off to one side

the park manager and is "park crew" who ever that is should be able to make it like that just cut the back of it off to make a little gap. its super hard for me to judge how close iam to a rail when iam pushing snow torwards.
I belive i bent the end of the box top with the blade last night opps oh well.

the end of the wail tail was bent on saturday...and it flexes when you come off the end of it...it needs one more support.

whats the status of the park runs. are they open yet. i was just checking the wilmot webpage and the trail status said that hideaway isn't open but all of those features are in. when is it going to open and are there any jumps up yet.

its kinda whack, i was planning on heading to wilmot today instead of alpine but I called the wilmot office this morning when they opened and they said that the park would not be open today, I want to come hit the new stuff you guys have up!

yeah thats super gay not sure why it wasn't open. i'm going out tommorrw night to ski hopeful and to finish the jump i have been working on I hope.

sounds good, pics? (if possible) Im going out of town until the 2nd to michigan to visit family but once im back im hopefully gonna be riding wilmot a fair amount

oh snap did i hear that a jump was built at wilmot. please post pics please. hopefully it's better than last years jump.

Just checked the wilmot webpage and clicked on the terrain park section and it said they have three air features set up on Hideaway. Ooooooooooooh the joy ooooooooooh the joy. I'm glad i'm closer to wilmot now.

that really depends on the alignment of the planets....number of gapers, and weather or not park crew picks up a shovel that day.... Maybe yes maybe no....good luck

as of last sunday which was the last time i was out there.
as far as rails go there was.the box top, C Rail, 2 box's forming a flat down, whale tail (rollercoaster), Battle Ship, Super Box, Farm Gate, as far as jumps go there are a couple not to big yet. not sure i they put anything else in this week i will be out there tommorrw night hopeful to ski since i have only been out twice the rest of times where to work

thanks for the update. i'm thinking of heading up on the 5th.
quick question, what is the SUPER BOX, never heard of it.

i guess that what we where calling it last year the way it was set up i guess its just a bigger box nothing to special

stop all the hate if you havn't been there. why don't you go ski wilmot and see for yourself then bitch if you have to shouldn't be much to bitch about. most stuff i have seen up in the park this early and there are still more rails and more room to build more snow features

yeah like concept said, you can't bitch until you've been there. jeez.
more rails? holy crap wilmot is becoming rail city. way to go.

I know the DFD,FDF, S Rail, C Rail (bigger one), Rainbow, Urban, and some other rails still have to be put out.

the DFD rail last year i remember had a crack in it at one of the kinks. i believe it was the first kink. didn't effect the rail sliding but it might be something to look into fixing if it already isn't. and i can't wait to see what wilmot looks like when the park is fully operational.
what is the s rail made out of? sounds like a stupid question but i'm interested.

is the racerX (or whatever its called) course set up yet. and which run is it/going to be on. that thing is always fun for a couple runs.

they actually have a fairly decent jump up probly around 30 feet? Rails are the best right now...

here is the park setup on the main run (not in the trees in hideaway)

Flat Rail Small roller

C Box

Flat-Down Box Jump (30 ft?) Roller Coaster Box

Up-flat-down rail Wide Flat Box

Small Jump (5-10ft) Mailbox-set up down with a street takeoff

park setup in hideaway-in the trees

small flat down box

small jump

spine

They had alot of other rails sitting on the sides of the runs and at the bottom of the park near the fire pit so hopefully some other new stuff up soon?

^ damn wilmot is really stepping it up it sounds like. i should be there tuesday. hopefully for a good part of the day. i'm hoping they have there park open during the day. i'm so pumped. thanks for the quick update.

where there alot of kids hitting the line of 3 rollers on Bunny Heaven? hopeful we get the rest of the rails up soon.

i only hit those first run of the day but they were nice because they kept alot of the families/lessons/little kids somewhat out of the bigger park. It looked like they were being used
