Wilmot Mountain Opening Day

I have never been so stoked! My home mountain is finally opening for the first day tomorrow Dec 19th 2015! I just finished my finals and am on my Winter Break; this news is incredible! It will be my third day skiing tomorrow and I can't fucking wait!

Just thought I'd let you know that a tiny hill in Wisconsin is opening while most of you are skiing big mountains...

grew up skiing crapmot and got my start teaching and grooming there! It will always have a place in my heart! I always bring my skis home in the wintertime just to make a point of hitting them up!
 
what are they planning on opening? I remember exhibition and broadway were always the first to open. The cam looks bare!

Probably just broadway for tomorrow, They said they'd post the runs tomorrow morning

I'm just so happy I don't have to pay to ski because I have a pass and it is 10 min from my house

I've never been to Wilmot but was thinking of heading up there like on wednesday. Anywhere south of wilmot isn't looking like they will be open before the new year

Yea let me know if you come up! It was pretty fun today they only have like 2 runs open and its full price (50$)...

I'll be there tomorrow all day too

I suggest going 30 min farther north and going to Alpine just because they have more runs, its steeper, and cheaper...

I have a pass thats why I'm going to wilmot, but alpine is def better as of now.

nope exhibition was more fun than normal because there were a lot of knuckle/bumps(not moguls) in the run so you could get some air, but it was just that and broadway open...

I was going to make a few trips up To alpine this year but that's good to know. I'll proba head up to alpine instead then

There is their facebook^

They have a good amount of runs open and their chairlifts are fast and comfy

It sucks that their lift tickets are 45 now, but I'm sure its worth it I went earlier in the season so I don't know how it is right now, but it is definitely better than wilmot

I was going to make a few trips up To alpine this year but that's good to know. I'll proba head up to alpine instead then
 
It was hella fun! They were open Saturday and Sunday

They put some rails in sunday...

Yea that place looked awesome! I have a pass at wilmot because it is right by my house, but if I didn't I would have went there...

It sucks that it's raining rn... I hope the snow stays on the hill so they don't have to completely re blow
 
Ok I'm sorry for bringing this back, but it honestly feels like christmas!

My park has yet to open, but it will today! There are so many features I just can't wait! In 40 minutes I'll be skiing on a fresh park!
