Anyone know if corporate ski shops like Ski Market ,if they will bend a pair of stock breaks to fit a wider ski, or does this go again't there insurance policy, which would mean its a no go? I really do not feel like spending an extra 40 bucks on brakes. I live in the city too, and there isn't too many options for ski shops.

you have to ask them if they want to,, like some will some wont. at my shop i knew the guy and he did it for me for free. but lots of shops dont do it cuz they dont wanna break them

my breaks need to be straightened. one of them is so bent inward that i either cant snap in the binding, or if i do then break gets stuck....and yeah i almost lost my ski in the wood towards end of last season, but some snowboarder was nice enough to catch it for me lol. i was thinking about going to ski barn and asking them if they could fix them for me, but then my dad said he can do it...or where can i get new breaks and are they only $40 someone said?
