Will this Nor'Easter pan out?

God I hope so. Probably heading up to MRG for the day if so. Its snowing pretty hard in the Catskills right now. Snow is supposed to be in excess of an inch an hour in the Adirondacks and certain places over 2000ft. Some places could definitely see over a foot from the way they are talking, the Weather Channel guys have warning of a "historic October snow storm". Time to do the snowdance.

it's been snowin since 9 this morning in central NY, bet there won't be any accumulation though, although 4 inchs are predicted.

my girlfriend is from south of speculator. Cant wait to see the pics that her parents will send of this storm. You would think being from Saranac Lake we would be getting hammered but no so much...
 
Still waiting for the rain to flip over here but the red warnings are still flashing on the weather forecast
 
Pa is gettin a lot of snow out of this. The last report I saw was at 11am and there was 10inches in one spot. Above 1400ft was getting snow, so the mountains will be white for a day or two tillit melts.
 
We haven't really had much snow during the day today, there is no accumulation. But between tonight and tomorrow night we are supposed to get up to 12 inches. Hiking whiteface might be coming soon....
 
do any of the UVm'ers know if i should move my car or is it cool still chillin' at the sheraton.
 
SNOW IN NJ!1!!1!!!

after lunch i walked around outside and took video with my phone and thought of the way i was going to set up a backyard setup by movngn all the snow from my property to one spot. But i forgot my entire property is basically tree covered, and it's raining, so all the good snow is gone now.
 
officially just started snowing in albany! well atleast at my house which is about 5-10 miles from the city itself, on normal elevation. its mixed with rain for now, but should turn over to all snow soon. yay for first sight of snow this season!
 
it is currently raining right now in Central New York...but i think its a mixed rain...i guess it was snowing this morning though..and it snowed like 2 weeks ago too
 
what the fuck, southern Vt is just getting rain right now...hopefully snow tonight...opening day is sat!!! IT BETTER HAPPEN GOD DAMMIT
 
roxbury, ny. it is 1 hour North of kingston and 1 hour south of albany. now it is up to 9 inches
 
still rain in btv.. its not going to change over to snow until midnight or so. we should still see a couple inches but i'm not getting my hopes up.
 
as glad as i am that we're getting snow, it always seems that southern saratoga county (me) gets boned by those curves in the storm. Everyone else is getting like a foot and then all of a sudden theres a jutting 1-4 were i live.

Still really really happy tho
 
wrd we usually get way less snow in saratoga (were i am) than places like rochester and central NY, but id definatley take 4inches right now!
 
Pretty soon it will be completey opposite and they'll be syaing the same thing, except we'll be getting 7-8 feet of snow and they'll be getting 1 -2 feet.
 
Its supposed to stay cold and theres a good chance we'll get the majority of our snow during the day not tonight.
 
im thinkin of drivin up there to get a run in or setup a rail. just gotta convince some people to go with me which might be difficult (i live 1.5 - 2 hrs south of there)
