Will the searchbar ever be UPDATED?

The Newschoolers searchbar is the only one i know of that only searches the thread title, and not the content. I read a while back that they were working on updating the searchbar, but i have yet to see any improvements. Will this be done anytime soon????
 
its fine the way it is, you're accecpted the way you are, so accecpt the searchbar the way it is. Don't be a bully and try to change it
 
I actually agree. The searchbar really does not work all that well, unless people are descriptive in their thread titles, which many people are not.
 
Rumors are that a new searchbar is in the works...

you may want to PM NoPoles or iamnopoles on that (same guy, not sure which username he uses now). He's the coder for NS.
 
idk... i guess google mght be a good search engine im still skeptical i think google needs a little while to prove themselves

They just have the best search tools. And instead of re-inventing the wheel, we'll use their search engine to power the search on NS.

It's a pretty simple solution that would work for most people.

Regarding this.. does anybody have any experience branding google searches?
 
i am a little slow, is this going to involve searching google JUST of NS pages with those words on the page? If so..DOPE!
 
its basically the Google search bar that only searches newschoolers.com for what you entered into the field. lots of websites have it...
 
I find it funny you said that considering you recently made a thread complaining about how you can't find a previous thread that was made on here...

"Can you guys put post some free movie website? I remember seeing a thread for free site but I cant find it any more. "
