i think someone mentioned something about this further up...the reason switch landings look sketch is because of the way our bodies are built. think about landing forward in pow; you land a little leaned back, as to not dive your tips in the snow. you bend your knees and sit back a little bit. now imagine landing switch in pow. you have to do the same thing in order to keep your tails above the snow, only this time, when you lean back, your knees and legs don't bend the same way. your body compensates by bending forward to keep you afloat. there's no way to stomp switch super clean like you can when skiing forward. don't misunderstand, i have the utmost respect for the pros who are pushing the envelope with switch landings in the bc arena. it's not a matter of skill, it's a matter of physics.
