i 270'd out of a rail today and nicked the rail when i was coming around with my tip

so the edge is cracked the base is dimpled out

will rossi warranty that? its on this years bc wrs

nope. no company that i know of warrantys skis about cracked edges that has touched anything but snow

sucks.good luck wit it though

i tore 6 inches out of my edge of my armadas and they had over like 6 edge cracks and they still warrentied them.

the base is dimpled out though, i wouldnt care if it was way up on the tip but its at the contact point with the snow

thats some good ass warranty then. most companies say on there website they will not warranty edges if you hit rails with them

what about my scratches. i bought them a month ago and today was my 2nd day skiing. i landed on a rail and my back ski popped off. i went to go get it and the edge was pushed into the core and the base was dimpled out. my local shop won't do a thing, but do you think rossi would warranty them or at least the one that broke?

you could always try..

once again - companies generally won't warranty from rail damage.

Warranties are for manufacturing defects from the company. Damage you cause by using them is not grounds for getting a new free pair of skis. I don't get new skis every time I get a core shot from skiing in the trees. While you may get lucky with companies like armada and line, its very rare that you'll get them replaced because of accidental damage. Skis aren't indestructible and impacts with hard objects cause damage, its reality.

This is getting to be a horrible trend in the industry, just like suing a mountain, take some responsibility for your own gear.
