yes it will if u can get lexan that works it is pretty much the same though, i would suggest watering or icing it down just to be safe but i am pretty sure it works.

we can get some srape plexiglass but i didnt know how it might wear on the edges/bases apposed to the stuff hockey boards are made of

It seems like it should work, but it is a lot harder than the hockey board shit, so it might be hell on your edges. Ice it down and you should be OK.

^good point, plexi tends to shatter (lexan does not shatter) and it could be very succeptible to the cold temps.

It would suck if you put a bunch of time and money in to the box only to have the plexi break.

A lesson for all you kiddies out there. Going out drinking until 4:30 is a bad idea when you have to be up for work at 7:30.

As far as shattering, you might want to just use some thick plywood and ice it. That would be easier to build and you'd have minimal maintenance problems.

 
drill some holes in it(not too close to the center) using liquid nails clamp your piece of plexi glass down to w/e its gonna be on top of(so no airspace exists. when its dried put screws into the holes you drilled and shit that will never crack. the secret is NO air spaces, thats all.

pvc sheeting is the best. pretty pricy though. it's the same stuff used on the big mother wakeboard sliders!

you gotta use pipe on the edge...like coping and use plexi for the center....make sure that the plexi and the coping are the same height or even. then it becomes good for a few uses.....wall ride set up as well as a box.

na, no way. plexi glass is softer than your edges. theres really no plastic material that will fuck your edges up
