Will my bindings rip out?

well ive got my new lizzies and i want to mount my p12's on them, but they have a real skinny mounting pattern...will i risk having a rip out because the screws are so close together, and because they will be on such a wide ski, or will they have the same chance of ripping out if they are on any other ski?

shorter mounting zone like p12 and fks are much more likely to rip out of a soft metal-less ski. smaller mounting pattern, more stress on a smaller area, more likely to rip out.

my experience with short mounting pattern and metal-less ski

great point...i have had experience with line warrantees and they are by far mad legit...thanks for reminding me about that

yea but you really want to deal with having to take your bindings off. pay to ship your skis out. and be without your favorite pair of skis for like a month......then have to pay 50 dollars again to have the new ones mounted.

True, but in your case it looks like a bad mount that was done too close is to blame. But yeah, metal skis are way better.
