Will liime wire mess up my mac

i got a mac laptop for my birthday and want to dl limewire. ive got a friend who doesn't have any trouble on his mac cuz he said somthin about macs not getting viruses. but i'm sure it will slow it down a bit.

any body knowww???
 
dont bother. for all the good limewire does, theres always that chance it will fuck your shit up so dont risk it. just support the music industry and buy cds.
