Will k2 cover this?

Definitely give it a shot! Worst case they say no, if you can go through a shop I find they tend to have better luck than going directly to K2

I bought them on the k2 website.So I sent them an email directly, hopefully they get back to me over the weekend.
 
You’d expect to see some edge damage at the point of the sidewall fracture, I don’t know what it’s like to deal with them but might as well I guess I’m not sure there’s a good way for a tech to repair that.

Yeah I really think it’s a defect in the ski and yeah I don’t know how I would go about fixing this maybe make whole new sidewall
 
Sad to see another exploded reckoner. Let’s hope that k2 fices this issue asap and make the recks worth buying

yeah, tried my friends pair a couple laps last season, super fun, playful and versatile. My friends recks blew out after a month, got a new pair from the store and they lasted only 2 weeks before the same thing happened. have seen too many recks delammed now :(
