Will JOSS still be here next year?

hey everybody last night i saw an edit on www.jon-olsson.com where Jon said he was turning more into a racer type than a freestyle type.

Good for him, he can do what he want's to but it would just suck if JOSS was cancelled because I think it is one of the best competetions in skiing right now.

So what are your oppinion should Jon still throw Joss eventhough he do not freestyle anymore??

Joss has already been mainly organised for next year. And Jon has said that he really enjoys hosting events and thinks it is what he hopes to be his career after he can no longer ski for a living.

this. It takes months and months to organize events like this, pretty much once JOSS ends Jon begins the preparation for next years. He already has most of the teams picked out as far as I know too (there are some qualification teams - for Team Europe, and NS picks Team Newschoolers),

JOSS will be be around for many more years, even if I decided to become a cross county skier;-)
Things are looking better then ever this year and I aim to step it up a level this year...
More info will follow soon!
Now its time for me to focus on KOS, I might ski around a lot of gates these days, but I dont think I have ever been more stoked for a BA event, I feel ready to go out there and push myself!
Cold city means icy landings so switch will be much easier, should mix it up and make this interesting!
Should be fun!
JON

It's pretty awesome that Jon is able to be Eurocup level racer (you are top 100 in points right?) and also podium at big air events. Doubt we will ever see this combo again.

how many teams this year.

and isn't there supposed to be a team with people that make less then 20 g notes a year

8 teams, each team consisting of three skiers, including one rookie (not making a lot of money from skiing), plus filmers and photographer. (If I remember correctly, that is, I may of course be mistaken.)
