my boots from last year are completely trashed, so i need a new pair. my foot has stopped growing, so i know i will need a 24.5. i loved my old solomons, and am thinking about the new spk pros. however, i am also looking at a few full tilts and dalbellos. i am not asking which i should buy, and i am going to a shop to try them on first. the only thing i want to know is if a 24.5 solomon boot will fit my bindings the same as a 24.5 full tilt or dalbello. or even if 2 different solomons will fit the same. thanks

Depends on boot sole length. 24.5 measures the shell size, not the bsl. Any self respecting shop will give you a free remount with a new boot purchase, if that is your concern.

which bindings do you have? Of course it depends on the BSL difference, but you shouldn't have a problem, i don't think you need to remount - most bindings will be able to adjust a whole size.

if your bindings are maxed out one way then no, but most bindings will be able to accommodate, especially if you got them mounted for those boots, shop techs always mount the bindings right in the middle to set it up for exactly what you're doing. you should be fine

anytime you get new boots you should take your skis in to get the bindings adjusted or remounted

ya most boots bsl will be different.......but only by a few mms so you probably wont have to do a remount....just forward pressure change.....but u still need to have a tech do it properly

ok thanks guys. and the reason i asked is because i got new skis and bindings this year, and i sent them in with my old boots because i needed a reason to talk to the shop manager again. i was trying to get a job there and had already been in like twice earlier. but they re-hired some gaper with pe's who doesnt know what a rodeo 5 is.

anyway, i brought them in like 2 weeks ago and i would hate to make them do a remount so soon. i decided on the spks
