will 2 scratchs really affect your skiing

Yes! every scratch affects performance A LOT. Sell those as soon as possible and BUY NEW SKIS!

I have a huge gouge about 9 inches long on one of my skis. I was really pissed off when I found it, but it turns out when I went to hit a box today it made me 270 onto it and then threw me into a 270 out.

haha once i got a scratch that went down right by my edges parrallel to my edges for like a foot, the scratch made a peice of ptexx bend out and it was like a long fish tail on the ski, this fucking sucked cause i lost all edge control to this peice of petex, i was ridding b/c and once i got acsess to a exacto knife i just cut it off and it was all good but theirs an example of how once scratch can fuck up your skiing.

scratches on the base or top sheet?

scratches or holes?

give some info so we know what your talking about but if its a scratch on the top sheet of base it wont effect anything

Just get them stone ground at the shop and the scraches should be gone. If they are deep you can fill them with a little PTEX. Either way the ski will ski just fine as long as the scratches do not go to the core.

it wont effect ur skiing unless they r holes n they have hit the core but otherwise they souldnt do anythin
