WildWood 2009 -- Nov. 7th

I am in that same exact position right now. Walking around Cosco this morning was one of the more painful things I've done in a while due to my toes.
 
justin, andy, jonny and i were filming. we'll probably hold on to the footage for awhile but it will probably pop up in some midseason teasers. i'm going through all of it right now.
 
adrian. those things are so gnarly, but it seemed like the judges werent feeling em. i wanna learn those this year.
 
nah shay deserved the win i think still. i mean lip 2 pretz 2 is gnarly as fuck.

nose butter was sick too.
 
yeah that was lame. fast plants are sick and fun, and he was doing a bunch of variations on them that the judges weren't even seeing
 
such i great fucking time! but does anybody know who the kid was that wrecked his car...looking extremely wasted while taking a sobriety test on the side of the road????
 
ya me and my friend rolled up right after it happened. they didnt have service so we called his mom in marysville for him. he got a dui. blew like a .19. this kind of pisses me off. kids crashing their cars and getting dui's is gonna give wildwood a bad rep. which is bad news for all.
 
yeah well i think alot of people were planning to stay up there and everyone just bailed when they kicked everyone out.. but its still stupid to drive wasted. really stupid! good thing everyone is okay.
 
this kid is pretty dumb too. it was like his third dui. so no sympathys. and i hear ya. but camp out in your car or something. thats what all my friends did that stayed up there. and word on everyone being okay. always a good thing.
 
holy shit. 3 duis. thats pretty ridiculous.... hes lucky he didnt wreck of the other side of the road or he woulda been fuckkkekdddd....hopefuly the greatest of wild wood prevails!!!
 
he would have been before they got the guard rail up. from looking at his car he most definately slammed hard into it before somehow ending up in the ditch on the otherside but whatev. haha
 
that flat box was so so much fun to mess around on. I should not have drank as much cause I could not get the switch butter on to save my life.

i was pretty disappointed in the crowd response... major props to errrybody who threw down. so much fun to watch, i know everyone was stoked but it didn't feel like the crowd was into it
 
the announcers were way to focused on the snowboarding i feel like. nothing against the snowboarers but i think the skiers threw down way harder and i did notice the pretzel and i went nuts and everyone around me kinda looked confused
 
i mean jacks switch back 1 nosepress was DIRTY. and todd slayed as always. and that kid in the yellow hoody from BSBS whose name is escaping me.

 
I noticed the unnatty 270 on and I was like "was that un natural" to someone next to me and they were like nah, it was too clean, then Alex did it again so it confirmed the point.
 
did anyone see the 270, 450 off i did on the long down box in wild wood, cuz i think the judges missed it

I would give you shit about claiming but I saw some in a green and yellow suit so a 2 on 4 off on the down box which was pretty dirty and he had a big NS sticker on his helmet...So yes I saw it and it was sick.
 
ya, they saw it. it was clean, but that one trick couldn't beat everything that Shay did.
 
jonny will probably put up another edit with shays footage in it at some point. i think he just made that one for tws
