The swerve thing was sort of a joke about how swerving and new wave happened to pop up right after Stept stopped dropping ski films. I'm not saying Stept is on top by a mile in terms of what I think is best; they're up there in that regard. Forre is an outlier and I'd agree is about on the same level in terms of risk and scope of features but I really don't think Strictly CL Hoodcrew or HG are on that level despite how much I like those crews and what they put out.

There's been an overall trend in skiing from doing tricks on the BIGGEST AND MOST DANGEROUS FEATURES to doing cool tricks on creative features in a way that someone hasn't done before. I'm not saying it's a bad thing.

My school has a huge 1200 stair set where we do switch quads into 7-8 back swaps. That was lighter than air, done with my eyes closed. I am sponsees by Red Bull shut up kid

Yes sir. Yeah most expensive public university in the state lmao

As a uni it has one of the best ski cultures imo. At least back in the day it did.

Great (free) park at Ripley and the closest (while still pretty far away from being the real deal) to getting big mountain skiing in the Midwest at boho. For next to nothing when you consider the cost of passes out west

It's also one of those few crazy places that in a day in April you can

Wakeup

Hit the skatepark

Go surf for an hour or two

Ski park if that's your thing

And then ski some cool glades at boho

All in the same day

I always like to swing by this rail on my way through Hancock/Houghton lol. So many sick spots around, on a weekend I go to boho Ive wanted to add an extra day or two to ski street
