Anyone heard any whisperings of when its gonna be this year? Because the non-skiing gf may be coming out sometime around then, and i wanna leave that weekend free.

i have heard rumors of nov. 6 or the saturday after. but nothing is concrete yet. once i hear from chris when it is for sure i will post the date

is there any chance of it being halloween weekend? i would think not, but i wanted to be sure.

i just dont think they would be able to push and get snow blown by then. if the weather was colder like last year they might have some pocket park action around then but i doubt they would try to push it that early

hopefully it will be a slightly less icy death pit than last year. i still dont understand how no one got seriously hurt, it was so sketchy hahaha

its always extremely sketchy. the combined factors of little snow, everyone's inebriation, and you are practically jibbing on top of people haha. but i love it

yeah and they took the pad off of one of the trees last year and that one kid smoked his back on it. I thought he was dead man

I will never forget watching a snowboarder or skier fly through a 3 foot gap of trees whilst Shane's camera was occupied by the other two feet. The guy just narrowly missed destroying Shane's camera. It was crazy, but i am stoked for this year.

I thought it was the sketchiest (maybe second, behind the first year). It got really cold so instead of the snow being soft, it was super icy, that sucked.

Also, it's on Saturday the 6th, not sure if anyone said that

Ya, true it was icier but there was way more coverage. Remember the cool fog that rolled in? I got rocked really hard the first year so I have only taken a few hits the past two years.

im so psyched for this now. collarbone should be all healed up (again...).

and honestly, that night in the backyard park post-jam was epic. i learned like 20 tricks in 2 hours on that flat box, hitting it till the dude running the rope tow told us to beat it. i was so tired that night but it was so worth it.

STOKAGE!!!

yeah dude last year was not that bad compared to years past. They actually had quite a bit of snow.

true that. plus in other years, it has been just as icy and a lot of the trees didn't have proper padding. our friend wrapped his back around a tree a couple years ago. shit was not cool

never been but im probably gonna make the trip this year so the 30 and 31 are just free days to ski. Then the other day is open jam then finals?

Trying to sell in BST, but not finding anyone willing to keep their offer... is anyone interested in/know anyone/have a younger sibling that would want to buy a pair of Surface Nine Lifes from last year, size 182, never mounted? Wouldn't have to pay for shipping which would be awesome.

Does anyone have a schedule or something for Saturday? I saw above 12-7 but I have heard there is a qualification starting at 4? Then finals later? Any help? Also do you need helmets, money, or anything like that?

1-5 open ride in wildwood

5-7 finals

7-10 pocket park with three features 20 ft flat box, 30 ft down bar, into tap to down

another mostly fun time.

heard from someone that nate's fine. was already back home again. still was so messed up to see. glad hes ok.

who ended up winning? we went down to pocket park before finals even started.

ben hills for skiing. he was in the light yellow saga pants. and seeing nate go down like that was fucked up. but i guess he just got a bad concussion and a bunch of stitches in his head. so awesome new cause that definately could have been a lot more serious.

^Chad won snowboarding but i have no idea who won skiing. I'm guessing the kid in the wu-tang shirt

haha, you'd think. Pete is a buddy of mine from Spokane that made the trek. We all thought he easily took the W, but somehow ben won?

got the pics posted on facebook. I only used 66 out of like 250 photos. alot were blurry. i dont know who all i shot. there are alot of the skiers i knew. add me for the pics www.facebook.com/wear.deuces.streetwear. if i have someof you and u want the originals write me a message on facebook. was a truly fun time shooting photos for the first time.

Not to sound like the typical crazy guy on channel 5 news, but I saw the whole thing go down. He was frontsiding on the bigger rail and kind of popped off/ his feet slid underneath him causing his body to lunge forward. His upper face was the first thing to hit the mixture of snow and gravel and dragged for a couple of feet and then his body hit and then he stopped. It was a really gnarly thing to see I am so so so happy that he turned out ok. Still vibes to him though and it was super great to see everyone out there smiling and having a good time. Big ups to Great Divide for doing the best with what snow they had. Now lets just hope this winter storm warning hits us hard.
