Wild Moutain opens today

Just throwing this little PSA out here about the fact that wild mountain in Taylor's falls opens today from 3pm to 8pm. If you don't believe me, check their site.

Personally, I'm having a stoke overdose. SKI SEASON IS BACK. For the first time this year I am actually working ahead on all my school work so I can just kick back and shred when I get out of school. I'm going they'll be open wednesday as well, but it all depends on the weather.

wasn't there the same day, but i had a friend who was, he thought you were ski jesus or something. rockin the corrugated tube and sticky ass rail.
 
Also just a PSA, wild hasn't been making any snow but trollhaugen is going prime. They are opening this weekend and have a full run. Wild is closing and it sucks, troll is opening and its beautiful.
 
Wild made some snow last night. Where did you hear that they were closing? They should be able to make snow tonight & I'm working there tomorrow.
 
Sorry bout bitching with a know-it-all attitude haha but

I didn't see any being made when I checked the webcam last night. And right now it looks like there is less snow than there was last night. Anyways, keep me updated. Tomorrow you should tell the park crew to bring some better features out! Logs with HDPE and corrugated tubes are kinda sketch but fun, last night they had like a gap on a log box it was fun after I got used to the speed.
 
Will do, yeah it is gunna be sketchy today but they should be able to blow all night tonight. Yeah I was keeping my eyes on the webcam too, I didn't see anything but someone posted a photo of them blowing, it looked like it was around 2am. Anything specific you want out?
 
I remember last year they had a rail tube out which was pretty fun. But any rail that isn't too sticky will be perfect.
 
Can't wait for Troll to open this weekend, its worth the wait instead of going to Wild and skiing on a little patch of snow with two rails.
 
Time to go for troll now. But holy shit some the boarders at wild were being complete assholes compared to the ones i know and love at most resorts. As me and some friends were leaving, a boarder bombs the hill and sprays us with water from the puddle at the bottom of the hill and yells "Skiers suck".
 
yep... that sounds about right. they love to bully skiers and younger boarders. it fucking sucks but if you call them out on it they should leave you alone.
 
They didn't say a word when I had my baggy jacket on, but it got too hot and I switched to a small hoodie and then they started giving me shit. That is the reason why skiers must wear baggy jackets, they protect you from angry boarders.

But yeah, I was thinking about calling them out but they were drunk and probably unreasonable so I didn't.
 
shooot i was there too! also learned my first bfed of a rail, surface bfed! i hope i'm not gaper anymore.
 
oops, well, how is wild? I was looking at some pics and it looked like the setup was fun, but it also looked crowded with little neff and zumiez snowboarders
 
actually good, considering the weather and stuff. a lot of snow and pretty fun features. I skied with Kenny if you know him. haha some lady took a pic of my and my friends behind these two lil snowboarder girls... overall a good time. Some of the snowboarders at wild are sick, like the ones at troll. Troll looked fun today too!
 
For sure, sounds like it was awesome. I might head up there one of these days, When I was at wild day after opening, the kids were throwing down, 450s over the corrugated tube gap, crazy shit haha.
