Wierd Skiing Superstitions

No jumps the day after...

3 Beer maximum after lunch.

Nothing bigger than a 5' , unless stoned.

and

3' on the 3rd run or sooner, or I'm not gonna for the rest of the day.

I have left and right skis. I can't ski with them on the wrong foot. Also very little breakfast, if I eat a lot (more than just like a piece of toast, enough to get my blood sugar up) I feel wierd and off my game. And have to bring more than one facemask, because anytime I don't it gets soaked and I really wish I had an extra

I always ski with the same socks (I wash them obviously).Left boot on first always.

I always get one of the re-close-able Monsters and keep in in my car to sip on throughout the day. I didn't do this once and sucked all day. Don't know what it is about it. lol

I really dont know why...but anytime i've gone to drop into something i've reached down with my right hand and just pinched a piece of snow between my thumb and pointer finger....no idea....and i have never really though about it until now. mind=blown

Superstition about throwing a snow ball off a jump/cliff

Sometimes you see people tossing snow balls off cliffs or jumps thinking that if you can throw it across a hit, you can land in the same place. The fact is that your mass density versus a snow ball is completely different. The velocity of the snowball being thrown is different than the speed you launch off the lip/cliff. This is what makes being guinea pig on big ass jumps is a shitty job.

On the drive up to Bogus Basin (Idaho) there's a cattle guard where the party trolls live. When you drive over the grate everyone has to open their door to let said trolls. Also important is to let the trolls out on the way down.

I've forgotten to let the trolls out once but ended up having a great night of partying so as long as you show them a good time in town the trolls will be happy.

If I don't have music while skiing in the park I have no confidence

clack poles left on top, then right on top, adjust my goggles and ollie on the way to a jump if i'm doing a good run.

Bump.

Right glove on first, and I need to go through one or two warm-up runs in the park or else I'll be off for the day, no matter what I'm skiing.

THISS!!!My friend one time spoke through silent rock and his bus got stuck on the road to meadows
