Wieght of skis

I dont like them heavy but they dont have to be that light. Price, durability and how they ski are way more inportant to me.

I never really thought any skis were heavy. The first twin tip i ever rode was when I demo'd a PE, and I just made sure whatever ski i got seemed at least a bit lighter cause those felt like too much, im sure theyd be fine now though

Try volkl gotamas. Those things are wickedly heavy.

Great great plank, but heavy as hell. Helps cut through crud...and kills pow though. Shitiest park ski in the world, however.

I actually ride metrons with the neox binding and rocks duct taped to the top for extra weight. Fuck coming off the ground, I want to plow through the jumps

you alright there?

and Ive riden two twins. The PE and the line chronic. When i clicked into the chronics, they felt like there was nothing on my feet compared to the PE's.

well right now i ride 04-05 chronics with the reactors... Im pretty sure that its just the bindings but the setup is super heavy .

I'd like to weigh in on this one: I ususally ride old x-screams, light little sticks, went out to whis and rode prophet 90's and scratch BC's (which seemed pretty much exactly the same) and while those skies are pretty heavy especia;;y by comparasion, they kill it in pow. Having that extra weight underfoot makes you commit to ripping turns and lets you blow through drifts, its sick as hell.

of course then I took them into some incredibly tight out of bounds glades, and while they killed it there too, my I could barely walk the next week from wrenching them around corniners all the fuckin time

i skied on AR5's for 2 years which didn't seem all to bad, but then i got scratch fs's which were way lighter, and i found it a lot easier to spin

i ride scratch sprayer fs's right now, utb over the season ive riden, line invaders, chronics, triplets, silencers,PE's, and a couple others, but i like the sprayers cause there no to heavy , but heavy enogh that you know where they are in the air, i couldent stand the line's there way to light for me, i need a ski that is well weighted so i can control them better in the air.

idk

the invaders are super light, along with the fujatives

the volkl Karma was light for how stiff it is

i just bought '06 rossi scratch's

they seem to have a omfortable weight to them, but not too much

a heavy ski: volkl racetiger, lol

Pretty much why I use my Jp's 99% of the time over my Gotamas. I like a lighter skis. And yea weight does make a huge difference in a park ski, and not just for spinning. When I ski the 190 Gotamas in the park, I feel like I have no control over them off jumps if I need to adjust real quick.

weight doesnt matter much, swing weight is a bigger deal, but i'd rather have a heavy ski that's durable and has pop (gotta have my pop).

I have the 04 rossignol scratch fs's and they are really heavy, but i cant tell the difference between them and my short k2 juvy rock skis weightwise while i'm riding
