I know not a ton of you listen to this type of music, but I know a lot of you do, also. I can either see Panic (Two nights) Phil Lesh and Friends, or SCI. The reason I can only pick one is really financial, I just have other stuff I have to spend money on or save money for. Anyway, if you have seen these 3 bands, which would you like to see again? Basically, I'm just asking for a brief review so I can end up enjoying whatever show I go to as much as I can.

from the shows i have been too, widespread doesn't put on as good of show as phil lesh and friends or SCI so i would choose phil or SCI

ive seen widespread panic and String Cheese, and i would probably go back to string cheese

what are you talking about Widespread puts on a ridiculous show. they are one of my favorite bands and treat thier fans like gold. last tmie i saw them they played close to a five hour set.

i've seen all 3 in concert a few times. my pick would be cheese but thats just me. they all play such a different style that it really comes down to which style you perfer. if you like balls to the wall, high energy southern rock, go see panic. if you would be into a band with bluegrass roots thats transforming their sound into more of an electronica band then see cheese. if you're more into the dead sound then go see phil lesh

Well I think Panic may be outta the question, I just found that Ekoostik Hookah is playing their fall festival on the same two days as the Panic two night spread. I know, i was talking financial... but I went to spring hookah and it was more than worth it. fall hookah should be a super good time, also.

agreed with the SCI or Phil comments. I don't really like WSP at all anymore. I dig some of their older stuff but even when I was at Bonnaroo last year and they were headlining both nights I chose to not go to either show.

Let's see, two mediocre jam bands or a living legend playing with some of the best musicians around, playing dead songs? Phil is playing with Scofield, so go see Phil. Are you hitting a show with GRAB? Then you get Trey, Mike, and the duo also. I'm not really a fan of panic or cheese.

Nah, Trey, Mike, and the Duo aren't playing at this show. It's a bummer, though. I wish Phil tickets werent so damn expensive, though. Either way it should be a good time. I may hit up cheese, too.. though theyre playing at ACL which im going to in September.
