Wide ski bindings???

How wide does a ski have to be before it needs bindings with wide brakes?

depends on the width of the brake. Typically, anything over 80mm

like, for example, if i got the px12 jib, would i need the wide brake model?

i don't think you'll need wide brakes with ar6's, i didn't need them with ar5s, they're only like 3 mm difference

You do not need them on anything less than 85. A wide brake would probably cause more problems with switch ejections. The tricky ones are FKS bindings. But even fks dont need to be bent until past 84
