I feel like a swallow tail is pretty meaningless on a twin tip shape right? The upturned tail would create the same sinking tail in deeper snow but lacks the longer effective edge because the edge still moves inward instead of flaring out.

Anyone who rides swallowtails is dying for attention

so you only buy skis that look cool for other people? ya, honestly anyone who buys skis with a top sheet is dying for attention.

What do you think of them? Big reveal here I actually rode them for half a season and hated them (yes I will admit I am also an attention whore)

Of course, i only bought Season Formas because they're dark and mysterious

I've only had one day on them so far. I absolutely loved them in fresh powder and they were surprisingly fun on groomers.

I'm not totally convinced about how they handle chop though. They pop a lot less than i expected too

Unironically yes. I would also even take it a step further and say that 99% of people who ski are doing it for the attention of others. Why does anyone do anything. Fish tail riders are just an extra degree of attention thirsty

I have not.. are they good?? I have to admit the buldoz crew dudes that ride them make them look fun af

They are the most fun ski I’ve ever been on. Never thought I’d say that about a directional ski.

nah man, 100% not. look good feel good ski good. if im wearing or riding something it’s because i like it and it makes me feel good. i don’t care what others think. i ski how i want with what i want. if i want a swallow tail because i think it looks sick and makes me feel cool than i’ll have a swallow tail. i think this is true for 99% of people who ski. plus a swallow tail 1000000% works in powder. it’s not just for looks. even if it’s on a rockerd part and you don’t have that extended edge you still get more stability on landings with the twin tip while having a ski that feels like it’s mounted farther back than it is in powder.

I agree. Yall are overthinking it, ski and have fun, nobody cares irl...... well unless you care more about others than yourself
