Newbie here. My feet are of width around ~110. I find it challenging to locate boots that offer high flex and accommodate my feet without needing extensive punching. I'm wondering if boots with a Boa system can be punched like other buckle boots to fit better. Is it worth the $$ to upgrade to BOA if my feet are wide and I need to punch anyway? peace!

Anything you can do to a buckle boot you can do with boa boots. You for sure will be able to get a good amount of space out of the shell via heat molding or punching. For reference our retail marketing manager is an ex college football player. He wears a size 28.5 and is 128mm wide. With a bit of work he gets the mindbender 130 boa boots to fit so you should be good. And 100% go boa there really is no reason to buy a buckle boot at this time.
