Wide Break for P18 Bindings

I just got a pair or Look P18 bindings and i was wondering if I should just bend the breaks to fit my skis or does anyone know where i can get wide breaks for it?
 
Wide brakes are not sold seperatley. I snapped a pair od mine bending, and trust me, they are a pain to find a relpacement for. Also, assembly is a total pain. the spring is pretty tricky to get back in, even after putting the baseplate back on.

There is a guy on TGR who will bend them for you. I suggest you send them to him.
 
they do sell wide breaks, my local mountain sold me them when i had to get look px12 bindings on my invaders. dont ask the shop to bend the brakes because they wont do it. either do it urself or go to ur local shop and the'll tell you that you need to buy wide brakes and the'll charge you for that. i dont no if that makes any sence but thats what happened with me.
 
just bend them yourself. If you are reasonably capable with shit like this, it should take no more than an hour.

the TGR tutorial is awesome.

My one tip: But everything back together besides the spring. Then just put the spring in and jam it in with a flat head screw driver. What your eyes....but I found this way to be the easiest by far.
 
that's good advice about the spring - where some glasses when you do it, because that thing can shoot out at 100mph! just follow the process and you'll have a nice set of wide brakes... it does take a while though
 
I snapped my stock brakes, and was forced to use some old tt09 brakes. They are a bit thicker, so I has to squeeze the spring with a vice grip to cram it in. It worked good.
