i got scratch 120 bindings with wide brakes. They're way wider then my ar5s could i just mount them or would i have to get new brakes? are they pretty easy to find?

Why would you get new brakes that just costs more money, just mount them.

sometimes the wider brakes won't be close enough to the ski when mounted on thinner skis. They could possibly drag or grab the snow. Depends how much brake is left over the ski.

It may not be a problem, but if it is you can probably get a free set of skiiny brakes at any decent ski shop

yea there is alot hanging on the sides, i think something may catch. Hopefully the shop i go to has some regular ones in stock.

shops will generally have narrow ones left over from when they upgrade someone to wide. If you land switch hard on those they will catch and bend or break your binding I see it all the time especially with looks.

i just got the same bindings for my foils, they're a little wide, but the foils are wide too, i might just bend them in a bit.

I also noticed the mounting lenght on the new look/rossi bindings is huge for the heel piece, and thoughts on pushing the heel back on the track so that the mounting is more underfoot?

yea if you mount those there gonna catch when you land backwards so you'll wind up with no brakes, just spend the extra and get narrow brakes
