what is better for wide angle lenses a bigger number or small number such as.. .45x or .7x

def go with .45 or .42 if you can.. .7 is basically worthless if you want a real wideangle.

the lower the number the more you can see. typically form 1-.5 it is wide angle. from .5-.4 is super wide angle and from .4-.3 is fisheye. not sure if you can get a fisheye with less then .3? oh and if anyone is interested im selling my .42 super wide angle. the thing is awsome but i dont have the cam anymore. 37mm threads

definately get a death lens. i think they are like .35 or so... crazy crazy hugeness... it makes everything look huge and you can get ridiculously close...

 
i have a .46 or something. it works nicely.
