Hey
I just have one thing to say when I was looking for a lens I did some research and I went in talk to a guy at one camera store. I had my heart set on this one lens, then the guy said well why don't you have a look at this other lens that was imported from Japan, the writing on the box is all japanese but it is the nicest lens I have ever used and it was about 1/4 the price of all the other big name lenses!

Not necessarily, generally off brand telephoto lenses are god awful. But my fisheye is an off brand and it's awesome and I've been using it for quite sometime, although doesn't look as good as some name brand ones, it still is damn reliable. But for the most part, a lot of off brand shit, will be good as first but will just slowly start to get worse and worse.

Then again I used my off brand 55-200mm to shoot at the UPA Ultimate Frisbee High School Easterns tournament and my photo was used to the first page of the men's section.http://flickr.com/photos/rjmphoto/2714738010/

sigma 17-35mm really sick easy to shoot action really fast AF and reallyyy wide, if you want a fisheye effect though dont go for this lense, but overall i would def. recommend it
