Why's everything going so opposite?

How come so many park skiers are now getting fat skis... and people who ski a lot of pow are getting thinner skis?

I notice it a lot and it doesn't make sense, like, i ski park and pow all the time so a mid-fat is what I ride.

But lately I've noticed a lot of east coasters asking about motherships, pistols, scratch bcs, and pocket rockets. I know some people want them because they like a fat ski, but seriously, they make the thinner, lighter skis so u can do stuff like 270s on and off rails and so you can make tighter turns on the groomers.

but yeah, i'm tired and that made no sense, good night.

You can still do 270's on with a fat ski. But I see what your saying.

One time my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up in the news. It was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week, he did it again. Different cat same results complete with another trip to the emergency room. So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to him “Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your going to get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?” And he said to me “Brody, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?”
 
I don't see many fat skiers, but I assume it would be hard for them to ski powder since there so fat...i.e. they would sink like a stone that was cast into water.

well maybe they hit some pow on the east. i have troublemakers and i hit alot of park and some glades and stuff. but yeah i cant see why you would get something meant for big mountain

I dont have fat skis when i jib but fater/heavier skis makes the tricks less hucked and more stylie. Fater skis looks way better on photos too

I think there are a lot of people that are going with a fatter park ski so they can also take it elsewhere. I've seen a lot of people in the back-country with fairly fat twin-tip (specifically pocket-rockets). A lot of people want versatility out of their skis, and want one pair to go from groomed, packed park conditions, to back-country pow and terrain (where a thinner ski wouldn't excell).

 
fatter ski so you can take it everywhere, plus, backcountry jibbin got a FUCKLOAD easier with a fatter ski, and a fatter ski is a lot more stable in the park.

thats why im thinking the Pollard Pros should be mad sick and get pretty popular unless everyone pusses out and wont ride 186, i think im gunna get the pollard pros after this year of skiing after some reviews and so on
