does anyone else have this problem at their mountain.....ok we have 2 parks now. a begginner and advanced. right now the begginner has lil flat rail, mailbox, flat to up box, and a 20ft down. now the advanced park for right now has a 40ft kink, 15ft jump, and the halfpipe.....why do all the parents and their 3 year old children go into the advanced one? my idea is to use reverse phycology. put the begginer sign on the actual advanced one and advance sign on the begginer one. cause i think the kids only ski the advanced to say they did it

your park needs to put in somesort of thing to keep them out, like a waiver or a test or a video or something to keep them out... snowmass doesnt have as bad of a problem as it sounds other places do with tourists in there, but it happens, what sucks about here is that somebody gets hurt atleast once a day and they close the park for atleast an hour while they cart them off...

My park is perfect it has the eact size hit I feel comfy on (its my first season freestylin) like 20 ft boxs and 20-40 ft jumps I hate when parks difficulty is either 5-15 ft tables or chads gap jumps.

We're having a major problem where I'm at with kids and their parents standing on jumps and landings. Our biggest hip/table is over 50 feet and really tall so people can't even ride up the lip, then they crawl up it and go sit on the landing where we can't see them. Someone will die eventually though getting landed on and people will smarten up.

I dont know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
 
same problem here. We got all these danish people who comes to norway just to ski for the weekend. Fat old men on skiboards.

 
yeh that snowboard guy that ran into me was insane and the day before was another old man snowboarder who yelled at us cause we 'broke the laws of the park' by not calling drop when he and his kid were sitting at the top of the pipe. they werent even close to standing up so we went. He tried to say he had been doing it for 40 years and tryed ti lecture us while he caught his edge and fel at ourt feet. he pretended like it didnt happen and was lecturing while he fell, it was ridiculous. I have not had any problem with retared people arguing with us except at bristol. Bristol is CURSED.

that sucks, i yelled at two little shits today and their dad because they were standing on the decks of all the jumps and had no business in the park whatsoever...they need to start banning little kids

yeah like at alpine meadows in tahoe there are so many little kids...though its kind of gay but i really like how whistler manages their park cause you gotta pay like 15 dollars and get a pass to get into the god park. this keeps the little shits out and gives money to the mountain for better park or better liability

^ Dude i know EXACTLY what you mean, i have the same thing at my mountain and Im up in Upstate New York, I mean getting an advanced park has helped get some people out but then not only are there those adults and kids who slide of the side the rail inramp, but those kids who ski to the side and watch and think there all cool cause they can ski into the terrain park, but cant do any tricks or anything.

i got yelled at by a mother because her 3 year old wouldnt get off the lip of our flat down box, adn i went by him. he then went into the landing, and my freestyle coach had to pull him out as i was landing blind. it is crazy.

One time at Fernie i hit a table and there was a mother with 2 kids skiing down the landing..I couldn't do anything but yell and I landed on the lady, if i was a bit to the right i would have probably killed one of the kids....i mean how stupid can a mother be to take her kids skiing down the landing of a jump!

the reason they only have a 15 foot table in the advanced park is because ever since the park opened its been raining like a bitch here... what they have in the park now is accually pretty good considering the conditions

i think thats a good idea using reverse phycology it would probably work

As long as you get some huge jumps in nobody will go in the park. Or if you keep yelling at everything then they will stay out. Or when one of them cuts you off as you approach a rail, hit it right when they jump off the side of the railjump and it scares them. Then they fall as you grind over them, woooo!

Last yeat at Bristol, my brother yelled at some girl cuz she was on the landing of a jump. All of a sudden this guy(turns out to be the father) starts yelling at my bro. the guy gets all pissed that my brother is yelling at his daughter. We just told him that we were trying to keep his daughter from getting hurt. But that obviously didn't make any sense to him so we just skied off.

There are some real ass clowns at bristol. Oh well.

i dont really have 'a mountain' but its true everywher i go all these fucking families always go threw the park and snowplow down the jumps to rails and get i nthe way fucking gay. I was heading to this rail the other day when i hear these screams and look back and thers this lady out of control snowplowing from behind me and she cuts me off then eats shit right in fron the of the rail.

yea, we've kinda all been there^ try to be a bit respectful to the people there even if you are really mad, kinda look for the parent and tell them to move their kid... your life doesn't depend on that jump and if you get to hit right away so saty cool.

i always stand at the gate of the park for a couple of minuits. I say can you do a 180, if they say yes i let them in if they say no i say they shouldnt be in the park because they will get hurt. and point them over to one of those tower jumps and tell them to go rip it up. they seem happy that a park skier gave them confidence, so its better for everyone. and the parents dont seem to mind. because you regard there safety. after that they know mthat the park mis for ppl who are going to hit jumps and do the rails, not for a learning hill.

^haha.......ah. One time at Winter Park this yr, my friend kinda cut off a skier and the guy flipped shit, he came down and tried to start a fight with us, then as we were skiing away he pushed my friend over thats when the ski patrol intervened (sp) and nearly cut his season pass, it was great.

ya yo im from bristol and ski there all the time. It sucks ass i hate all these little kids and old people that ruin everything. the other day i saw a little kid go off the 20ft table and crashed, and then a kid landed on his head. Someones gotta do something cause this is getting fucking gay! O ya Bristol cant cut a pipe for shit. They need to get someone that knows what there doing and cut it nice. Dan Fuller is full of it

 
ya my mountain putin up a park in the next couple of weaks. im kinda worried becuase it's going to be on the chair where all the learning areas are. and theres alot of little fags at our resort.
