Why your ski area sucks

Alright, I would first like to say that all other ski areas bow down and worship Wolf Creek Ski Area. Why? Well maybe it's because of this...

5 days = 40+ inches of snow!!!!

what's up now?

 
i contend that whistlers 80+ inch dump in a week last year was impressive, but this year, it been dry

yea, Jackson does get dumped on.....but what about this year....see it's still snowing at Wolf Creek while everywhere else that is open right now is using man made snow. Oh and the terrain is good.....and the terrain park...well the R and JO Airport is always kickin'

it snowed here the other day... only like 3cm stayed... for a few hours in the middle of the night... it was half hail and ice shit too though... that's good for ontarible for this time of year. yea, go us!

when was the 80 inches last year in whistler, cuz i was there in march/april and there was some crazy pow this onew day, so deep.

 
Well I have to say that St-sauveur beats them all. The mountain revolves around their terrain park.. And We ski from October to may.. And We don't live in some huge mountain

 
it was midish december when it dumped... i was up there for the later half of that week, just amazing

ha ha ha I laugh. world record snow storm? 189 inches in 5 days at mt. shasta ski bowl - california. 40 inches is a good dump for one day, not 5. 130 inches is a good 5 day storm. but then again, so far it's 0' for california.

i live in plano, texas and the snows not very good here

but it did get kinda cold today and last year in january it hailed a little...

thank god for winter breaks

 
man 80+, 40+ in a day is crazy!!! resort where i live dont even open up intil late december...and even then most of the snow is man made. thank goodness i'm going to grad school out west!

my resort sucks because.... wait.. it doesent. Thats cause its in tahoe and we have open boundaries. you want to hear about record snowfall? Here in tahoe back in the 80s, like 82, it snowed so much that some resorts had lifts where your skis were on the snow the whole time and Alpine and squaw had to dig trenches for there chairlifts cause the snowlevel went higher than the lift. We have this huge 90 ft cliff at Alpine and in the picture i saw the whole thing was burried

 
Speaking of Record snowfall, I have from several heard that Cornerbrook Newfoundland has the most snowfall in the world. Is this correct? I was there during march two years ago and it rained more than it snowed.

But see, Wolf Creek has all this snow in a DROUGHT in OCTOBER! I know it's dumped way more than 40 inches at almost every ski area in north area at some point or another....but in OCTOBER? Well aaight,

only thing i can remember cool about bluewood was that we got a 13 inch dump one night and the powder in the backcountry was sick

the best was when mt. aerosmith (i think it was that one...near seattle) lost it's t-bar and couldnt find the 10 meter high pole they use to measure snow depth...and the chair lift was running, but it was in a track about 3 feet below the snow level...so many chairlift gaps...

 
hitting a chairlift gap would be so sweet. not likely to happen here though.

east coast kinda sucks...except for jay, they get mad snow...and i remember this one time like 5 or 6 years ago we got this sick ass storm in the middle of april....40+ inches of snow in 1 day...shit was hot
